It's been two days since an eclipse sent much of the United States into total darkness for a few moments, but it's still hard to log onto the internet without seeing a few memes and posts about it. As a nation we are both too concerned, and not concerned enough with losing our jobs to outsourcing. One person stumbled upon a grocery store with a cashier calling in through Zoom! Now that's one job I never would have thought could go virtual. On the other hand, when grandma Karen throws a fit because she can't use the self checkout, I'm sure most cashiers would love to be able to stage an internet blackout.
